President's Welcome
Jazmyne Fosha
Chapter President, Seattle Alumnae Chapter

Welcome to the official website of the Seattle Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Since it’s chartering on September 9, 1979 by our beloved Founder Bertha Pitts Campbell, esteemed 17th National President Mona Humphries Bailey, and 20 visionary members, the Seattle Alumnae Chapter has continued Delta Sigma Theta’s legacy of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service in the Pacific Northwest. As the first African American Sorority chartered in Seattle, our commitment and service are deeply rooted in advocacy, action, and uplifting our communities across King, Kitsap, and Snohomish Counties.

It is a true honor to serve as chapter president. I am inspired by the legacy of leadership, service, and sisterhood that has shaped our chapter—and energized by the opportunities ahead. Together, we are working to deepen our connections, strengthen our chapter, and expand our community impact.
Seattle Alumnae Chapter remains committed to programs aligned with the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

• Economic Development
• Educational Development
• International Awareness and Involvement
• Physical and Mental Health
• Political Awareness and Involvement

This biennium, we are prioritizing reconnection, collaboration, and intentional service. Whether by uplifting youth, engaging in advocacy, building meaningful community partnerships, or nurturing sisterhood within our chapter, we strive to reflect the values of Delta Sigma Theta in all we do.

Thank you for visiting our website. I invite you to explore our programs, learn more about our chapter’s history, and follow us on social media for updates on events and initiatives.
